Swiffer helps the sniffer
Hi my name is Christine and I’m allergic.
Yep I’m allergic to some seafoods, peanuts, some fruits (mostly the yellow variety), to insects, sometimes to pollen, sometimes to chicken and most of the time to dust. I had an allergy skin test last year and found out I’m allergic to a dozen other things I don’t even know about. I hate it when it’s allergy season and to me it seems like it’s always allergy season since I live in the freshly polluted city of Makati *lol*
I’m still enjoying life though, I just need to carry antihistamines in my purse. Even Ali carries at least one tablet just in case I ran out. I still do chores too. I live with my brother and I can’t really expect him to clean. My mom helps me organize our place whenever she visits us. She teaches me how to keep things in order and tells me that I’ll avoid having allergy attacks if I keep the place clean. I find that quite difficult to do since I really don’t have much time to clean and I can’t afford prolonged exposure to dust.
Good thing my mom’s friend, Tita Vivian, gave us Swiffer sweeper which proves to be a useful cleaning solution for us. Sounds like an ad huh? Well, I just want to share this with people on the go because I think if you need to clean your place in a jiffy then this is just what you need. I’ve been using this for almost two years now and yesterday, I was just admiring how convenient and easy it is to use.
You just need to snap onto the sweeper either the wet or dry cloth and sweep away. Unlike with a broom, the ridges on the cloth trap the dirt and dust so I don’t need to worry that they will continue to float around while I’m cleaning. All I need is to throw away the cloth and I’m done. I don’t even need to use a dustpan.
I think you can buy the sweeper starter kit at Market! Market! Not sure if they have the Swiffer SweeperVac locally but I sure would like to have that too. Click on the image for more info.

Wow, it seems to be tough. Here in Japan, specially on Spring, there are a lot of people wearing masks like a hospital. Good think about this swiffer, i will look for it on the Super. Good luck!
Ali: Thanks for always looking after me sweetie!
Argos: Yeah, sometimes it can be tough living with allergies. You’re in Japan? I thought you’re in Peru. :) Hope you’ll be able to find Swiffer there.
This is INDEED a GOOD NEWS!
:) Thanks for sharing this info.
No problemo. Just ask your friends from the U.S. to buy it for you in case you can’t find it here.
