diet and exercise
i started going to the gym (again!) this morning. i’m guilty of eating so much this holiday season and i can’t hide the excess weight that i put on. i have tried slimfast, spiru-tein, fat burning tablets so i could lose weight. i even crash dieted and gulped on skinny mini which made my stomach growl the whole day. (i shouldn’t have mixed skinny mini with milk, i sometimes forget i’m lactose intolerant). but for some reason there wasn’t any significant difference with my weight, in fact, i feel even hungier sometimes. so last night my brother and i decided to work out every morning to remove those stubborn fats (that was after bingeing on fastfood staples and junk food).
this morning, we woke up a bit late than planned and my brother wasn’t able to go with me to the gym because he’ll be late for work. since i still have time to spare, i went on and burned a few calories with the lat pull down machine, leg abduction machine, abdominal bench and the stationary bike. (yeah i searched for those gym equipment names just now so i can sound like i know what i’m talking about, i used to address them as metallic set of bars and stuff *lol*). tomorrow i hope i’ll be able to wake up earlier so i can use the treadmill. there are four treadmills in our gym but two were broken, and since it’s the most popular equipment there, people line up for the remaining two. guess i just have to position my mobile phone/alarm clock a bit farther so i couldn’t easily push the snooze button again and again. :)

[…] As a perennial dieter, I’ve tried lots of stuff so I could lose a few pounds. I came across a website a few days ago promoting wu-long (oolong) tea as a slimming tea. I decided to check it out further. In the testimonial section, one user even said she lost 50 pounds by using this product and slight diet modification (she omitted fast food). Wow, 50 pounds? I got more interested (yeah I’m quite gullible when it comes to weight loss thingie), not that I need to lose 50 pounds but if others can lose weight I can do it too. (Quite determined, eh?) […]
